Blogged here are things with the woman in mind (particularly one who is a sports fan, but certainly not limited to) - whether new products, some you don't know exist, great prices and even feel-good stories, reviews and more.

SPAWTY LIKEY...
O.K., so you can't live without your Facebook and your Twitter. Sorry MySpace - as the amazingly cool Fergie sings, "you so 2000 and late". Well, we here at Spawty.com are "soooooo 3008" (thanks again Fergalicious), so trust us and add Evernote to your online love-fest addictions. If you don't know about Evernote already (your welcome), it will organize your life, in a really great and searchable way.
There will be no more forgetting things and being buried by hundreds of post-it notes (it's about time you did your part in preserving nature). Anything you want to remember, you simply "capture" using your computer, mobile device, e-mail or camera (it can recognize text in your photo!) and stuff it all in to Evernote. These notes are entered neatly, tagged and organized initially by you, and are there when and wherever you need them.
So, you were watching the news and saw a report on a coupon-cash-back shopping website - Hoopla Doopla (again, your welcome). By the way, another awesome website that not only steers you toward discounts at hundreds of your favorite online stores (Best Buy, Target, Home Depot, ITunes, Pet Smart, Sephora...), but you get cash back from them just by clicking and buying through their links!! But you are probably going to forget the name of the website because you have brain overload and not enough me-time. Just get to your computer (or smart phone) and "jot" it down in Evernote in a short minute or two, tagging it with keywords easy to remember like shopping, coupons and/or website.
Fast forward to a month later and you wanna do some shopping and think to yourself, what was the name of that damn website? Fret not, because you are an Evernote member (free) and addict (in a good way). You search "shopping", and there it is - Hoopla Doopla, among the other 157 shopping sites you wanted to remember. Even better, you are chatting it up with a girlfriend and tell her you found this great money-back site. You are able to quickly search and find it in Evernote and pass on the info to her. Not only does your friend thank you, she thinks you are cool... and you now feel useful in a high-tech, geeky kind of way.
Go sign up! Equally lovely for storing recipes, to-do and shopping lists, random notes, business cards and the like. Empty the contents of your brain among other things into Evernote, and it'll remember for you... just search and you will find.

SPAWTY LIKEY...

Body soap. We are hoping the readers of this blog use it. They come in all shapes, sizes and scents... but we know of THE perfect soap. One that you will gladly put away your old fav for. One that is so sweet and creamy it has you dreaming about waking up and showering with it, and another naked person of your choosing. Ahhhh.... oh, sorry. It's name - "Snowcake" made by Lush, in all it's almondy goodness. Even the name is perfect. But it's quite the tease as it's only available for a very short time in the fall/winter months, not to mention pricey and "melts" quickly. So very worth it though.
What do you do the rest of the year without Snowcake? This is assuming you haven't spent most of the money you saved to buy others Christmas gifts on a year-long stash of the stuff. We are confident that we've found a really close second to the absolute yummiest soap on earth. And of all places, it's hand-made in Marmora, southern New Jersey by Little Egg Harbor Soap Company (gotta love the little guys). Even the name is just as good - Almond Crumb.
Head-to-head, it's thicker and lasts longer; cheaper (plus these kind folks send you samples of their other soaps); more of an exfoliator with bits of almonds and baby oats; smells exactly like a crumb cake (yes, you will want to eat it); and it doesn't take weeks to arrive at your door (Lush is in Canada). Scent-wise however, it doesn't last as long on your skin nor does it feel as good going on. Sounding like Almond Crumb is the winner of this matchup? Not quite, as there is something magical, even heavenly about Snowcake. No shame in being second here. But, no need to make a choice - Snowcake in winter and Almond Crumb the rest of the year. Enjoy!
